Proven track record
From massive total turnkey projects to complex up-grades and add-ons
Working with industry leaders, DoRon has carried out massive and demanding turnkey projects, as well as add-ons and upgrades.
Customer satisfaction is evident in the long-term customer relationships and numerous repeat projects.
Below are samples of turnkey projects:
Construction of GMP rooms and air systems for Teva-Tech
Client: Teva-Tech is among the fastest growing manufacturing facilities of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Globally
ranked among the top-20 in its field, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is one of the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical companies.
Requirements: As a turnkey project, ten GMP rooms were required for the production of end products for the chemical industry.
Construction included full room enclosures and ceilings including an air treatment system per customer requirements. Customer
demands were for the highest quality, in the shortest possible time.
Implementation: Since the plant itself was still under construction at the outset of the project, and began running-in a
new production line and equipment during the course of the project, the DoRon team had to maintain work efficiency while adjusting
to ongoing structural changes.
Outcome: Despite adverse conditions, the project was completed in record time and meeting all requirements, to the expressed
great satisfaction of the customer.
Design & construction of laboratories for Makhteshim-Agan Industries
Client: Makhteshim-Agan Industries Ltd. is a subsidiary of Koor Industries, the world’s leading generic manufacturer and
distributor of crop protection products.
Requirements: A turnkey project calling for the design and construction of laboratories to be housed in an existing structure,
as well as purchase of all required
laboratory instrumentation and furnishings. Project completion was required in the shortest possible time.
Implementation: The first stage was laboratory design, while the older existing laboratories had to be destroyed. Structural
changes had to be made to the existing building to adapt to new laboratory designs. Civil engineering work therefore included
renovation of the existing plant. A fume cupboard was manufactured and installed, as well as customized laboratory furnishings.
Each laboratory required electrical infrastructure and instrumentation. Installation of new air handling units required solving
air pressure problems throughout the plant.
Outcome: Final installation and run-in required only minimal plant downtime. The project was completed at exceedingly high
levels of operational and laboratory quality, and within the tight timetable.
Design and construction of absorption system for ABIC Ltd.
Client: Israel’s largest veterinary products manufacturer, ABIC (1939) exports its proprietary veterinary disease treatment
and prevention products to countries on four continents.
Requirements: Turnkey project to design, construct and install an absorption system for a facility under construction.
Implementation: Project included equipment acquisition, testing and run-in prior to delivery. Installation required smooth
coordination with plant construction teams at the site.
Outcome: The system was delivered to the customer’s full satisfaction, installed in the building under construction, and
meeting all requirements and timetables.
Laboratory upgrades for SemiConductor Devices (SCD)
Client: SCD designs, develops and manufactures the full spectrum of infrared detectors and power laser diodes. It is one of
the world’s leading sources for high-end, infrared components.
Requirements: Turnkey project for upgrading the manufacturing facility laboratories from a cleanliness level of Class 10,000
to Class 10.
Implementation: Four laboratories/production rooms were upgraded, by replacing the ceilings. Work included ceiling design;
acquisition of required materials; dismantling existing ceilings in rooms containing sensitive equipment; changing the fire protection
and electrical systems; changing the air-conditioning system to increase airflow; installation of new ceiling within a limited time
window while plant was closed for holidays. Total ceiling area was 200 sq.m.
Outcome: Meeting all requirements and standards, the project was completed within the limited timetable.
